Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 1/4" Stovepipe Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "Jas. Hamilton & Co., Greensboro, Pa."  
 
James Hamilton ran his pottery in Greensboro from the 1860's to 1880 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features the Stovepipe Form, Wax Sealer Rim, and the Paisley-Shaped Advertising Stenciled across the Front.  Stands 6 1/4" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A kiln touch on the left side and front bottom in the making.
