Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Redware Pot made and stamped by "John W. Bell, Waynesboro, PA."
John Bell made pottery in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania from 1840-1880 (H. E. Comstock, The Pottery of the Shenandoah Valley Region, 106-162).
This beauty features a Tooled Rim with a Groove for Ease of Tying a Cover Over it, Pottery Stamp, and Tooled Shoulder. Measures 6 3/8" tall and 7 3/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Some minor staining. Otherwise as made.
