Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Salt Glaze Script Jug made for the "Katz Bro's, 476 Broad St., Newark, N.J."  
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features an early Salt Glaze, Larger Size, and Four Lines of Large Cobalt Script Advertising.  Stands 13 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/2" wide chip on the right side of the spout, a minor 1/8" nibble on the right side of the handle, and some staining from use. No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A piece of clay adhered to the back in the making.
