Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Large Cast Iron Still Bank embossed "Columbia Bank" above the Doors.
It as made and embossed on the bottom by the "Kenton HDWS MGF. Co." of Kenton, Ohio. USA."
The bank was designed after the Administration Building at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago and was made from 1893 to 1913. This is the larger of two sizes made (Andy & Susan Moore, The Penny Bank Book, No. 1073, p. 112).
This beauty is overpainted with white enamel. The base measures 7" square and it stands 8 3/4" tall. It is missing the combination trap on the underside.
