Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Mug.
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Tooled Footer, Strap Handle, and Mocha Slip Stripes. Each stripe has two black pinstripes framing a white stripe. Warm mustard coloration. Diminutive size of only 3 1/4" tall.
A similar mug can be seen in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I, p. 47.
Excellent Condition. Minor surface wear. Otherwise as made.
