Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Mug.
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Tooled Footer, Strap Handle, and Slip Stripes. Two black pinstripes frame a wide white stripe. Warm yellow coloration. Stands 4" tall.
A similar mug can be seen in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I, p. 47.
Excellent Condition. Minor nibbles on the bottom edge of the strap handle. No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
