Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Little Jar with Floral.
The floral indicates that it was probably made by S. B. Bosworth of Hartford, Connecticut (1890) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 61).
This beauty appears to be a 6 Quart Size and Sports a Squatty Form with Narrowed Tooled Rim and a Brushed Cobalt Floral with 8 Leaves and a Double Blossom. Stands 8 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. An 1/8" nibble on the inner seating rim. That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
