Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jug made and stamped by "M. Tyler, Albany, Manufacturer."
 
This is the mark of Moses Tyler in Albany, New York from 1834 to 1847 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 67). 
 
This beauty features an Early Ovoid Form, and Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash.  Stands 11" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles around the base.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Recess on the right side near the handle in the making.
