Macartney operated his store in Paris, New York.  Paris is a small town in Oneida County, New York, south of Utica. 
 
Circa 1850, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Shape, Four Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash, and a Freehand Capacity Number.  Stands 14 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Very light staining.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A 3/4" stone ping on the right side in the making.
