Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 1/4" Wax Sealer Canning Jar made for "McCarthey & Bayless, Louisville, KY."
It was made in SW Pennsylvania at either Greensboro or New Geneva.
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Stovepipe Wax Sealer Form and Three LInes of Advertising Accented by "Propellers." Stands 6 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Two minor 1/8" flakes inside the rim and a faint 1 1/2" surface craze line at the rim (closeup). That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
