Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Little Yellow Ware Pitcher with Embossed Swimming Swans.
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Graceful Form with Scalloped Rim, Slightly Bulbous Body, Footer, Fancy Handle, an Embossed Swan Swimming among Lily Pads on Each Side, a Leaf Under the Spout, and Rockingham Glaze. Very attractive decoration and size. Stands 6" tall.
Very Good Condition. Some glaze wear on the front, and a 1/4" chip in the glaze below the handle in the back (closeup). That's it! No rim or footer chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A short surface seam line below the handle in the making and glazed over.
