Item 10141
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Uncommon Staffordshire Spatterware Pitcher with Transfer Chinese Scene.
Dating to the mid-19th Century, this beauty features an 8-Sided Construction with Graceful and Large Spout, Raised Footer, and Curvy Handle with Thumbgrip. The print features a center dignitary at a table with two men on each side enjoying a meal served by two servants. Stands 10" tall.
Spatterware with such oriental scenes or with Peruvian Horse scenes is very hard to find. I collect both and would not part with this piece except I have a match in the same exceptional condition.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind.
