    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Early Pitcher attributed to West Virginia,

     

    Dating to the Mid-19th Century, this beauty features an Unusual Shape- Like a Teacup with a Tall Neck.  Embossed Rings on the Rim and Shoulder.  Inscribed Neck.  Rounded Footer.  Main Attraction: 7 Vertical Rows of 10 Wavy Stripes, Four Above the Embossed Center Rings and 6 Below.  Stands 10 3/4" tall.  

     

    Very Good Condition.  Some restoration to the outer surface of the spout (closeup), nibbles around the embossed center rings, and a 3/4" chip on the footer.  No hairlines, cracks, or stains.
