Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Stein with Pewter Lid.
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Molded Stripe with Cobalt Fill on the Shoulder, a Molded Footer with Cobalt Accent at the Bottom, and a Pewter Lid with a Scene from what I think is the Swiss Alps with a Young Woman standing on a Rock and Waving a Hat. The Village and Pine Trees in the Background. Stands 4 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. No damage. Natural aging of the pewter.
