Item 10653
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Bottle made and stamped for "T. L. Wakefield."
I cannot find another example of this bottle to tell you its origins, but I can say I bought it in a collection here in NE Ohio.
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Clear Pottery Stamp. Stands 10 1/2" tall.
Very Good Condition. A 1/2" surface ping line on the left side of the spout (closeup). That's it! No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/4" clay void on the back where straw burned away in the firing process.
