Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "N. Clark, Jr., Athens, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Nathan Clark, Jr. of Athens, N.Y. who ran the family pottery from 1843-1891 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, adn a Double Brushed Cobalt Tulip Decoration.  The tulip sports nine leaves and two blossoms with eight petals each.  Bright and shiny cobalt throughout the decoration.  Stands 13 3/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Some staining from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
