Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Handsome 1 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jar made and stamped by "N. Clark & Co., Lyons." 
 
This is the work of Nathan Clark who ran the pottery in Athens, New York and a satellite pottery in Lyons, New York from 1822 to 1852 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66, 73). 
 
This beauty sports an Early Ovoid Form, Thick Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, the Pottery Stamp, and a Brushed Cobalt Leaf.  Stands 11" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles on the base.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Some bubbling in the cobalt and leans slightly forward in the making.
