Coming to you from Doc's Crock's is this wonderful 5 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Company, Fort Edward, N.Y."  
 
This company was in operation from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and Capacity Number with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Cobalt Dotted Plume Decoration.  The plume has 19 sections and 18 dots.  It fills the front of the crock very nicely.  Measures 12 1/2" tall and 13" wide across the top.     
 
Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip inside the rim. That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 1 1/2" surface drying line inside at the rim in the making.  Exceptionally clean.
