Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "Ottman Bro's, & Co, Fort Edward, N.Y." 
 
This is the work of William R. and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Brushed Cobalt Bird on a Branch Decoration.  Stands 14 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" chip inside the spout and some staining at the bottom in teh back.  That's it!  No outer spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Dry glaze in the making.
