Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 5 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "Ottman Bros., Fort Edward, N.Y." 
 
This is the work of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company in Fort Edward, N.Y. from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).
 
This beauty sports a Large Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Big Bluebird Poised on a Floral Bouquet.  Both the bird and the floral are very nicely detailed.  Measures 12" tall and 12 1/4" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 1/4" flake on the rim.  Otherwise, as made.  It is rare to find a 5 gallon crock without any significant damage.  Super clean.
