This scene comes from the Adventures of Telemachus by Francois Fenelon published in 1699 as a critique of autocratic government. The book was extremely popular in the 1700's and 1800's.
Excellent Condition. Some wear and scratches on the underside. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Remarkable for being a plate that is 200 years old.
