Item 6187
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Pair of Staffordshire Blue Spatterware Cups and Saucers.
Circa 1830, this pair features the handleless cup which held the tea that was then poured into the deep saucer and drunk from the saucer. Aren't we glad someone thought to just put a handle on the cup! The cups measure 2 3/8" tall and 4" wide across the top. The saucers measure 1 1/4" deep and 6" wide.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind! They have made it together for 190 years without so much as a scratch.
