Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2  Gallon Stoneware Jar made and stamped by Peter Herrmann of Baltimore, Maryland.  
 
Herrmann worked on Eager Street in Baltimore from 1850-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 98).
 
This beauty features the Impressed Pottery Stamp and Two Large Double Three Leaf Clovers On Each Side. This was one of Hermann's signature decorations. Stands 12 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A flat 1/2" chip on the rim.  That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
