Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped "The P.S. Co., York, PA."
 
This is the mark of the Pfaltzgraff Pottery of York, Pennsylvania which began in the 1830's.  This mark was used from about 1894-1906 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 51-52).
 
Dating about 1895, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Shape, Clear Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Beautiful Brushed Cobalt Flower composed of a Blossom Dangling from a Branch.  The branch has 14 leaves and the blossom has 7 petals. Stands 11" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
