Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made for "H. F. Phillips & Stein, Richmond, Va."
 
It was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, West Virginia. Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
 
This beauty features a Tooled Rim with Groove for Ease of Tying a Cover Over the Top, and the Company Advertising Stenciled Across the Front.  The stencil is complete and in strong cobalt.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Mottled glaze in the making.
