Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Tiny Merchant Jug made for "Quinn, Oster & Lalor, Utica, N.Y."
It was made and stamped on the back by "Sherwood Bros., New Brighton, PA, Manufacturers." Typically these merchants had their jugs made by Whites of Utica, but they closed in 1907.
Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features a Small 6" Size, Banned Shoulder, Pottery Stamp, and Stenciled Advertising.
Good Condition. Some glaze crazing, a fine line near the bend of the handle, and arched line under the handle-- both shown in the closeup. No chips or restoration.
