Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this pair of stoneware and glass bottles.
 
The glass bottle is embossed, "R. Creech, West Troy, N.Y."  The stoneware bottle is stamped. "R. Creech, Root Beer."  
 
I am selling them together because the glass bottle gives the provenance of the stoneware bottle.  
 
I cannot find any reference to this merchant or any images of either the glass or stoneware bottle.  Kind of mysterious!
 
The glass bottle is as made other than the water glass staining.  The stoneware bottle has chips around the spout, a 3" vertical line on the front (closeup), and a faint meandering line around the base about 3/4" up from the base.  No base chips.
