Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 3 Gallon Jar made by "R. T. Williams, New Geneva, PA."
 
This is the work of Robert T. Williams who worked in New Geneva from 1882 to 1895 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 168-70).
 
This beauty features Top to Bottom Decoration. There are three stripes at the top, the company advertising surrounding an emblem in the middle, and a freehand capacity number framed by two dashes on each side and underscored by a stripe on the bottom. Stands 14 1/4" tall.
 
Good Condition with restoration.  Chips on the right handle, and amateur restoration for a 2 1/2" chip on the rim (closeup).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or stains.
