Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 17" Striped Yellow Ware Bowl.
It was made by the Pfalfsgraff Company of York, PA in the 1920s (Lisa McAllister, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book III, p. 119).
This beauty features the Large 17" size, Thick Rim and Footer, and Two Brown Slip Stripes Framing Two White Slip Stripes around the Middle. Measures 8" tall and 17" wide across the top.
This bowl would look fantastic on a harvest table with fall gourds, apples, halloween candy, etc.
Excellent Condition. Minor narrow 1/2" flake on the bottom of the footer and faint scattered feathering inside. That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. A scratch and clay void together on the rim in the making (closeup).
