Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare lid for the rare Blue and White Salt Crock by J. A. Bauer.
Bauer worked in Louisville, Kentucky and Los Angeles, California from the 1880's into the 20th century.
This lid fits his Salt Crock with Waffle Background with Embosed Leaves and Vining. A photo is included above. Measures 5 1/4" in diameter.
Excellent Condition. As made. No damage of any kind. A 2" craze firing line in the center by the knob in the making.
