Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Vase with Sgraffito Decoration.

It was made in Southern Ohio around 1890 when this carving out of the decoration from Albany slip glaze was popular.  Typically examples of this ware are presentation pitchers.  This is the first vase I have ever seen.

This beauty featues a Tall Neck with Flared Rim, Ringed Shoulder, Bulbous Base, and a Small Wildflower on the Shoulder and a Lily of the Valley Springing from Leaves and a Small Fern.  It is signed "Everett" on the back.   Stands 8" tall.

Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/8" nibble inside the rim. That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
