Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Jug made for "S. Sipser, Successor to Kolle & Kaiser, Wine & Liquor Merchant, 215 Hanover Street, Baltimore, MD." 
 
It was probably made by the Sherwood Bros. Pottery, New Brighton, PA.
 
Circa 1900-1920, this beauty features a Small 1/2 Gallon Size, and a Stenciled Label with 5 Lines of Advertising. All the lettering is crisp and clear.  Stands 8 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" nibble on the bottom of the handle.  That's it!  No spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
