Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 2 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "S. T. Brewer, Havana."
 
This is the work of Stephen T. Brewer who potted in Havana from 1853-1859 (Allen Sweet, The Stoneware of Havana, N.Y. and Its Makers, pp. 44-51).
 
This beauty features a Tooled Rim and Shoulder, Applied Handles, Strong Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.
 
Fair to Good Condition.  Minor flakes inside the rim and some scattered light staining.  Main issue is a crack on the right side from below the handle to the base and across the bottom as a Y (closeup).  No outer rim or base chips or restoration.
