Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Sewer Tile Recumbant Lion on a Plinth.
 
It was made in Ohio in the early 20th century and is signed inside by "M. Griley."
 
This beauty if features a Lion Resting on a Base and Looking Out Across His Domain.  Chocolate glaze.  Measures 9" long, 4 1/2" wide, and 6 1/2" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  A narrow 5/8" chip above the right eyebrow that appears to be partly in the making, and four chips along the underside edge of the platform that partially show on the outside (1/2" to 1 1/2").  No other chips, or any hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
