Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most Unusual 1 Gallon Bottle or Jug made for "Shell Rock Spring Water, G. A. Birch." 
 
Shell Rock Spring Water is located in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.  The clay color, stencil, and the fact that this bottle or jug has a handle-- all indicate that was probably made in SE Ohio.  G. A. Birch may be the merchant in Ohio who distributed this water.  
 
This beauty features an Unusual Tall and Narrow Form, Wide Mouth, Handle, and Three Lines of Stenciled Advertising.  Stands 13" tall.
 
Excellent  Condition. A 1/2" chip on the bottom edge.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
