Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Small Staffordshire Eight-Sided Platter.
 
It dates to the Mid-19th Century and was imported from England (Earl F. and Ade F. Robacker, Spatterware and Sponge, pp. 110-111)
 
This beauty features a Large Size, Blue Spatter Edge, and Blue Transfer Federal Eagle with Shield.  The eagle clutches three arrows and the shield bears thirteen stars.  Measures 10 3/4" long and 8 1/4" wide. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Very light overall discoloration.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
