    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot.

     

    The decoration is distinctive of Daniel Shenfelder who made pottery in Reading, Pennsylvania from approximately 1860-1900 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 24-26).

     

    This beauty features a Cream Pot Form with Tooled Rim and Rounded Body, Scribed Shoulder, and a Brushed Freehand Tulip Decoration. Measures 8 1/4" tall and 8 3/4" wide across the top.

     

    Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the front and 1 1/2" chip on the back of the rim.  Minor nibbles at the base.  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
