Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, Pa." 
 
Thomas Reppert made pottery solo in Greensboro from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 157-159).  
 
This beauty features a Tooled Rim with Groove for Pouring the Hot Wax to Seal the Jar with a Tin Cap, Canted Sides, and the Company Advertising Framing a Floral and Accented with Leaves at the Bottom.  Stands 9 1/2" tall
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Fine bubbles in some of the letter in the making.
