    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made for the merchant, "T. M. Graham, Dealer in Genera. Merchandise, Jackson C.H., W. VA."   

     

    This merchant ran a general store in Jackson Court House, WV and had this jar made in Southwest Pennsylvania-- probably in Greensboro by T. F. Reppert. 

     

    Circa 1880, this beauty features Two Stripes at the Top and One at the Bottom Framing Four Lines of Stenciled Advertising and a Small Floral.  All the stenciling is complete, crisp, and executed in strong cobalt.  Stands 10 1/4" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the inner rim and two chips inside the outer rim (1/2", 3/4"), and some staining from use.   That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
