Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 1 Gallon Platform Jug made for "The Baker Co., Wholesale Liquor Dealers, 27 N. Main St., Dayton, Ohio."
 
Circa 1900 to 1920, this jug was probably made by the Burley Winter Company of Crooksville, Ohio.  
 
This beauty features a Stunning Label with Six Lines of Advertising in Crisp and Dark Cobalt with Graphic Flare.   This is the kind of striking advertising for which Burley Winter was known.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip on the left side of the spout toward the back, a minor nibble on the right side of the spout, a 5/8" chip on the platform on the left side, and a 3/4" chip on the heel in the back.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
