    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this sweet Little Jug made for "Rudd's".

     

    This jug was made for William and George Rudd who ran three grocery stores on Euclid Avenue, Cleveland from 1894 into the Depression when they expanded to 9 stores.  For a history of this store, see https://case.edu/ech/articles/c/chandler-rudd-co

     

    Dating around 1900 to 1920, this little jug was likely made in New Brighton, Pennsylvania and features a Two-Tone Glaze and the Company Name Stenciled on the Front.  Stands only 7 1/2" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition. A single 1/4" chip on the underside of the footer.  Otherwise, as made.
