Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Stoneware Jug advertising "Trebiing's Hotel, European Plan, Straus & Wermeister, Props., Louisville, Kentucky."

According to online records, in 1884 this hotel was owned by John Trebing.  It was called the Wolff Hotel and was located on 622 W. Market Street.  In 1907 it is listed as Trebiing's Hotel and as being on 620 W. Market Street.

This jug is unusual in being only 5 1/2" tall and for advertising a hotel.  I cannot find any sales records for a similar jug which leads me to suspect that not many were made or for very long.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
