Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Spongeware 1 Gallon Pitcher.
It was made and stamped by the Uhl Pottery of Huntingburg, Indiana (Anna Mary Feldmeyer & Kara Holtzman, Uhl Pottery, 2nd ed., p. 25).
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features a Bulbous Base with Tall and Straight Neck, Pinched Spout, and Gorgeous Blue Sponging! This form and maker is a perennial favorite with collectors. Measures 9 1/2" tall.
