Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Yellow Ware Egg Bucket.
It was used to place eggs in once gathered in the hen house. It is often found in blue and gray stoneware, but rarely in yellow ware
Made around 1900-1920, this beauty features a Center Blue Band Framed by White Stripes. Measures 5" tall and 7 1/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A couple of pinhead-size nibbles on the base, and some light feathering on the exterior near the bottom. No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
If you collect yellow ware, this may be a piece you have not yet found.
