Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unusual Yellow Ware Lidded Jar.
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Canted Rim, Ringed Shoulder, Two Embossed Bands, and Button Lid.  Stands 5 1/4" tall.
 
I have never seen another one like it.
 
Excellent Condition.  There are 4 pinhead-sized nibbles on the edge of the center ring in the shoulder.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlilnes, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid has a pinhead-size nibble on the knob, and a narrow 1/4" sliver chip on the underside edge.
