Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Platter made by Villeroy & Boch, Dressden.
The pottery mark on the bottom is from the 1874 to 1909 period of this prestigious company (closeup 1). The date stamp is a hexagon with D above EB with 3 below (closeup 2).

This beauty features the Virginia Pattern with Freehand Blue and Red Blossoms and Leaves and cut Purple Floret Accents. Measues 16 1/2" long and 12" wide.
Very Good Condition. Some light staining at places around the edge. But minimal use. No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. No utensil marks either.
