Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Ovoid Jar that I am attributing to Maryland.
 
Dating around 1840, this beauty features an Ovoid Form, Carefully Tooled Rim and Shoulder, Elaborate Floral Garland on Each Side, and Cobalt Accents at the Handle Terminals with a Loop of Dots Below.  Each garland has 9 blossoms and there are 7 dots under each handle.  Stands 14 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 3/8" chip on one handle.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The two chips on the outside of the rim and one on the base are in the making and glazed over.
