    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "West Troy Pottery." 

     

    This is the mark used by William Warner of West Troy, New York (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871. 

     

    Circa 1870, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Folky Bird on a Branch Decoration.  Stands 13 1/4" tall. 

     

    Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" nibble under the spout, and six small chips around the bottom edge/underside (3/8" to 1/4").   No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Overglazed in the making.
