Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Jar made and stamped by "Whites Utica."

This is a work of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles, who ran the family pottery from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 69-70).

Excellent Condition.  Some small chips:  inside the rim (3/8", top of the rim in the back 1"), two on the left handle (1/8", 1/4"), three on the right handle (1/2" each), and two on the base (1/4", 1/2").  A few faint stain runs.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
