    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Wonderful Little Blue and Gray Stein with Pewter Lid.  

     

    It was made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, New York between 1890 and 1907 when Whites made its innovative molded stoneware. You will find this mug in Christopher Bensch, The Blue and the Gray: Oneida County Stoneware, p. 57. 

     

    This beauty features Two Composite Stripes, Each with Two Debossed and Cobalt-Filled Stripes and an Embossed Center Ridged Stripe, and an Attached Pewter Lid.  Stands 4 1/4" tall. 

     

    Excellent Condition.  The stoneware portion has some extremely light staining.  Otherwise as made.  The lid has some wear on the edge and scratches on the top center.  No dents.   

     

    Ships double-boxed, insured, and FREE.
